Adail Cottage is a peaceful Edwardian cottage in the village of Llanilar, situated in the verdant Ystwyth valley, about 6 miles from Aberystwyth on the West Wales coast. The house is charming with all its original fireplaces and woodwork. The lounge at the front sees the morning sun and the dinning room at the back catches the evening sunset. The river Adail rushes past the end of the garden into the Ystwyth river a few 100 yds further down. Mae Bwthyn Adail yn fwthyn heddychlon Edwardiaidd ym mhentref Llanilar, lleoledig yn nyffryn gwyrddlas yr Ystwyth tua chwe milltir o Aberystwyth ar arfordir Gorllewin Cymru. Mae'r tŷ yn swynol ac yn cynnwys y gwaith pren a lleoed tân gwreiddiol i gyd. Mae'r lolfa ar y blaen yn gweld haul y bore, ac yn y cefn mae'r stafell ginio yn dal pelydrau machlud y noswaith. The Ystwyth Trail, part of the National Cycle Network is a 20 mile route which follows the Ystwyth river from Aberystwyth through Llanilar, inland, so it's an idyllic spot for cycling, dog walking, forest bathing and mindless wandering. Adail Cottage is just 6 miles from Aberystwyth the nearest seaside market town. Aberystwyth is famous for it funicular railway, and formation starling swooping displays, after a stomp along the prom, and a kick of the bar (a local tradition) there's nothing better than seafront fish'n'chips, and a pint to wash it all down. If you like home cooked pub food you're in for a treat, The Falcon Inn, is a stone's throw away so it's not far to stagger home full-bellied afterwards.
