Make your dining trip and visit to Skye extra special with a minimum 3-night stay at our house — dine, unwind, and soak up the beauty of the Island. An Clamhan was completed in 2019. It is a house of modern design built and finished to a high standard. Underfloor heating is provided by way of an eco friendly and highly efficient air source heat pump and the property has been constructed with the environment very much in mind. It is set is approximately 2 acres of woodland with views to the sea, the castle at Dunvegan and the famous Cuillin mountain range. The area around the property supports many forms of wild life from seals and otters, so many species of birds and our resident buzzards after which the property is named. Colbost is a small settlement about 5 miles from the village of Dunvegan with many local attractions within a 10 mile area, and the world famous Three Chimneys Restaurant 100m from our house. Skye has become something of a food destination and needless to say most of the restaurants will require to be reserved well in advance.
