Featuring a garden, Ashbys Accommodation & Spa hire is set in Portsmouth in the Hampshire region, 2.4 km from Mary Rose Museum and 7 km from Port Solent. Boasting a shared lounge, the guest house is close to several noted attractions, around 1.3 km from Portsmouth Cathedral and around a 19-minute walk from Spitbank Fort. We are friendly and happy to help and assist with local knowledge and any questions you may have. We live next door so you can call or pop around for anything you need. Please note that Ashbys has 9 rooms and there will be interaction with other guests too as they have access to all communal areas.

Ashbys Accommodation is situated, just minutes from Southsea seafront and the centre of Portsmouth, close to local shops, bars and restaurants. Being a former Boutique Hotel it contains great features and communal areas. We liken it to what we call a self catering hotel where we provide great clean rooms all en suite; Towels, Bedding, the fastest broadband access with smart T.Vs in the room and communal use of pool table, air hockey, table tennis, football table and kareoke machine. There is a hot tub and sauna available (extra fees apply and this will need to be booked in advance). So guests have the run of the entire property with their own private en suite room. Plus a large well equipped kitchen for those that like to cook. This Accommodation is large scale with plenty of space. So whether it’s a single person wanting a quiet room, to couples families and larger groups we can cater for everyone.

Southsea is a bustling village by the beach on the Southern tip of Portsmouth. It’s known for its lively social scene and Ashby’s is surrounded by over 30 bars and restaurants. Situated in a residential area that benefits from its close proximity to Southsea common and the beach. Everything is reachable by foot and it also boasts great links to the nearby Gunwharf Quays and Old Portsmouth. Just across the road from the DDay museum and Southsea Castle its ideal for those seeking a good central location.
