The house is located in Ellon town centre within 100 yards of several cafes, restaurants and public houses. The award winning and world renowned brewer, BrewDog, has its main brewery in Ellon and also has two bars on site, Overworks and DogTap. In addition, they distil vodka, gin and other spirits and provide very interesting guided tours around their facilities. The site also contains a BrewDog shop, where visitors can purchase items of clothing, glasses as well as beer and spirits. The highly acclaimed , Trump International Golf Links, is situated at the exceptional Balmedie Beach, 9 miles from Ellon. Other local attractions including, Haddo House, Pitmedden Gardens, Slains Castle (where Dracula lived!!) and Glen Garioch Whiskey Distillery are all within easy driving distance from Ellon. In addition, several links golf courses and beautiful beaches are within 12 miles of the property. Ellon is also only a 20-30 minute drive from the historic fishing towns of Peterhead (Blue Toon) and Fraserburgh (The Broch). Getting around Bus access into Aberdeen, Fraserburgh and Peterhead is a 2 minute walk from the house.
