  • Is there designated parking or is it on street parking where you can find a spot? 
    Hi, there is free parking an easy 4 minute walk from the house, sea views all the way (always a space). There is paid parking a 2 minute walk from the house on West Looe Quay.

  • Hi, We would like to book for house for one week from the 23rd July -30th July. We are a family of five with one small dog. Can i just confirm if I pay a non refundable £1856.00 this will secure the booking?

  • it says there is a garden, our party includes dogs and children so I just wanted to check this ahead of booking and wondered if there was a picture.
    There is a beach within a 2 minute walk but the house itself has slate paved terraces. The front terrace has seats for 8, the rear patio has a dining area, the top terrace has a couple of chairs but no space for children or dogs to run around, sorry.

    Hi, Thank you for your enquiry. The only slope will be the pathway up to the house, but it's no more than 50-60 yards up the slope. We had a 75 year old guest last week, who walked with a stick, and they didn't find the slope too much of a problem.

  • Hi, what’s the walk into Looe like please? Is it steep at all?
    The path from the street to the house is fairly steep, approximately 100ft in length. My 82 year old mother manages it fine, but if anyone has mobility issues, then they may need to stop for a breath. The walk to Looe is flat, along the riverside.

Harbour House is situated in the Looe Conservation area, perched above the Looe River with superb sea, beach and river views. The house offers all modern facilites, including Aga range cooker and a Peloton Bike studio and work space, making it the perfect getaway for families or groups of friends. The house is just a 30 second walk to the South West coastal footpath and 2 minutes from the nearest beach. Pubs & restaurants are within a 2 minute walk.

Harbour House is situated in the Looe conservation area. We are a one minute walk to West Looe Square where you'll find Looe's oldest pub, The Jolly Sailor, an old smugglers haunt, plus 2 small convenience stores, and the Portbyhan Hotel which serves a mean Sunday lunch. Further along the Quay you'll find the Harbour Moon pub (Great sausage and mash) with it's terrace overlooking the river. The Michelin award winning Sardine Factory restaurant is also a two minute walk from the house. The beaches of Hannafore and the South West Coastal footpath are a 4 minute walk. The town of East Looe with it's boutique shops, numerous restaurants, pubs and cafes, and sandy beach is a 5 minute walk over the famous 7 arched Looe bridge. Harbour House is accessed via a pathway leading from Hannafore Road. The pathway leads to 6 steps up to the house. At the rear of the house are steep steps leading up to the pedestrian access Hannafore Lane. Harbour House does not have private parking however there is free on street parking at Hannafore, a 4 minute walk, or paid parking on West Looe Square, a 2 minute walk.
