The house is situated to the east of Bosham which is a quaint village on the Hampshire/Sussex boarder. From the house you can walk to the shore within a few minutes passing through the village itself which is charming and has a collection of sweet little independent shops and two wonderful pubs, The Barclay Arms and The Anchor Bleu which are well worth a try. If you venture into Chichester you will find a wonderful array of both independent and high street shops and boutiques. If you really fancy a treat book yourself a table at Purchases for a fabulous meal or just cocktails. For a great day out you can easily reach Portsmouth Historic Dockyard or The Weald and Downland Open Air Museum, home of BBC's The Repair Shop, both places are great fun for any age group. There is outlet shopping, cinema complex and bowling at GunWharf Quays which you can easily reach by car or train from Emsworth. For something a little different you can book seal watching boat trips from Hayling Island or hire kayaks from Emsworth Marina. Access to the races and Goodwood Motor Circuit is really easy from Emsworth making Brook House the perfect location for when you are attending The Festival of Speed, Glorious Goodwood or The Revival.
