Welcome to Cambridge Narrowboats. We are a small family business and do everything we can to make sure you have the best holiday possible. Before you set off on your narrowboat holiday, we will give you a full handover, explaining where everything is on the boat, how everything works and practical training covering boat handling, mooring, locks, reversing, turning and boat safety. We will spend as much time with you as you need and only let you go off on your own when you feel you are ready. If you would like even more help, we can accompany you on your cruise as your personal 'chauffer' and spend a whole day or more with you - contact Nicky or Gary to chat about what you need

Glyndwr is perfect for the most amazing family holiday... She is a 57ft long Cruiser Stern Narrowboat and spacious enough to accommodate the larger family in comfort and style. She comes fully equipped - all you need is food & drink plus a sense of adventure. She has plenty of outside space, central heating, hot water, full size shower & flushing loo, wood burner with fuel provided, Beds can be made into 3 doubles or 2 doubles & 2 singles. She even has Wake up next to the swans & ducks looking out upon the River Great Ouse... Stunning. 100% cotton linen & fluffy dressing gowns. Join us to take in the wonderful natural scenery on the rivers of Cambridgeshire and the truly unique beauty of the Fens, coupled with historic, vibrant Ely and Cambridge. Pets are welcome. Moored at the Lazy Otter in Streatham, you are only a 2 hour cruise to Ely and 1 full day to Cambridge or St Ives, the only problem is there is too much to choose from. Your holiday route is your choice – head for Cambridge through 2 very easy (electric!) locks or visit Ely, St Ives or the wonderful open space of the Fens or even the famous Lodes. Whatever you choose, will be beautiful and a holiday of a lifetime. She is equipped with everything a family will need for a wonderful holiday - all you have to do is stock up with food & drink and we take care of the rest: We also have another boat - New Moon which is is smaller than Glyndwr and ideal for couples.

For weekly or longer breaks, we meet you at The Lazy Otter, for shorter breaks we may be able to move the boat for you beforehand and meet you at Cambridge, Ely or even St Ives. Please note that mooring in Cambridge itself is restricted to a maximum of 4 nights and Ely 2 nights. Please contact us before you book to discuss the options. Once you arrive, we give you the warmest of welcomes, all the training you need and after that, its up to you to get ready to make some amazing memories! You can also cruise to St Ives, Ely, Wicken Fen, and The Lodes, it's entirely your choice, route guides will be provided
