By choosing Briglane you are retreating to the comfort of an adorable self-contained cottage getaway to gaze at the twinkling constellations under a cosy blanket. Briglane cottage is a cute little cottage set in a smallholding/miniature farm with views of the county down countryside and within earshot of the waves hitting the shoreline of the Irish sea. It does not pretend to be a five-star hotel, but truly is the perfect escape to a peaceful place.
Briglane Cottage is a family run business that is an adjoining bungalow to our own home. We are a family of 4, have two very bouncy dogs and a mix of horses and sheep on the land to the rear of the property. We are loving the renovation journey that Briglane has brought us on and rediscovering the traditional way of life in this beautiful country setting. We enjoy various sports as a family and as we were raised in the local area we can pinpoint you to all local amenities.
Briglane cottage is a cute little cottage set in a smallholding/miniature farm with views of the county down countryside and within earshot of the waves hitting the shoreline of the Irish sea. Briglane cottage is comfortable, cosy and has the name (within our own soul tribe) as the healing house. It is surrounded by wildlife and a beautiful selection of birds and at certain times of the year bats. It does not pretend to be a five-star hotel (as you can tell by the long dirt road leading up to it), but truly is the perfect escape to a peaceful place. Although sitting in the heart of the countryside, it is only a 15 minute walk to the beach and childrens play park. There are also various other attractions in the area such as Kirkistown golf course, race course, a distillery to name but a few.
