Or if you head to Porth Tyn Towyn you can get into the Scenic Sauna by the beach there. Come home sandy and salted, you’ll space to hang wetsuits and you can cook fish on the BBQ and eat out enjoying the rural view. The lawn space is great for little ones or dogs – or both! About a mile down the road find Rhosneigr, a sea lover’s haven, bustling with surfers and those after meals out – the restaurants are fine indeed Sandy Mount Hotel and Cowrie are a notable couple with local produce on offer. The Llys Llewelyn café there is a more modern nod to the past - a meeting place for coffee and cake. St Cwyfan’s Church has survived though on its tidal rock our little ‘church in the sea’ dates from the 12th century and is worth a walk to. With beaches sprinkled along the coast from Cil haul to Newborough, there is plenty of sand to go around.
