The property is set over several floors and a central wooden spiral stair case connects the main living area, kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. Guests with mobility and visual impairments, and very young infants may struggle with the stairs in the building, including the steps down to the snug in the basement. With a modern and sleek design, the fully equipped kitchen area is perfect for cooking for family and couples. There’s an oven and hob, SMEG fridge/freezer and lots of space for preparation. The kitchen also has a dining area with adequate seating for all guests. The property comes with a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and a coffee machine. Plenty of cookware, cutlery, glassware and crockery are provided along with complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and cooking basics. The primary cosy living room has a large comfy sofa and armchair, a smart TV and log burner. The large bay windows flood in plenty of natural light, creating a cosy and comfortable space that's perfect for winding down with a book in front of the warm glow of the log burner. Next to the kitchen, down the quirky stairs, you will find the snug room with sofa bed sleeping 2 guests, electric log burner and smart TV. (Please note, if you have restricted mobility, we advise taking extra caution when using the stairs to the snug room). The main bedroom oozes charm and character and is finished to a high standard. With a double bed, reading chair and storage for all your clothes and belongings this room is perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring Margate. Fresh white linen and towels provided for all guests. There's also a hairdryer. The twin bedroom gives a cheerful, rustic feeling with warm lighting and retro soft furnishings. There are two single beds great for guests of all ages. There is a stunning tiled bathroom with large walk-in shower, toilet and hand basin. The well-lit, private garden area with outside seating and a hot tub for 4 persons.

This property is conveniently located to shops and supermarkets, charming cafes, micro pubs and bars, some of the best restaurants in Thanet. The Margate main sands and the seafront arcades are just a short walk away. Dreamland, Margate Old Town and the Turner Gallery are also within walking distance. Neighbouring seaside towns Broadstairs and Ramsgate are a 10-15 minute drive by car. Local buses and train also run regularly to these destinations. Travel Instructions Travelling by road: The M20 and M2 motorways provide easy links from London into Thanet. Margate train station is approx 20 minutes by foot and is regularly served by Southeastern High Speed services travelling to/from London St Pancras as well trains from London Victoria. The train from London St Pancras takes 90 minutes and a little longer from Victoria, and it’s just 50 minutes from Ashford International station National Express runs a national network of coach services. Coaches run from London Victoria to various stops in Margate and take approximately 2 hours. Frequent bus services: the Thanet Loop serves Margate, Cliftonville, Broadstairs, Ramsgate and Westwood Cross. The Eurotunnel train at Calais will transport you to Folkestone in just 35 minutes. From there it is approximately a 1 hour drive to Thanet on the A20 and A256, follow the signs to Margate.
