The location was perfect, car park close by! The staff were were helpful.. we needed some help re the parking app. The breakfast was served with a smile, and the service was quick and efficient. Nothing negative to say, a pleasant one night stay with lovely staff.

Great price. Great location. The room was a family room. 4 comfortable beds where as other hotels I looked at had 2 beds plus a sofa bed which we didn’t want. Exceptionally Clean and tidy. And a having a car park too was a cherry on the top

Plenty to do, beautiful sea front walks. Lots to do to entertain children. Great safe beaches with lots of eateries to cater for all types. Only stayed one evening and ate in hotel, so can not recommend any restaurants. Very clean and plenty of parking.

We lived at Southend/Westcliff for years. Sad to say it has gone downhill since we left and we now only return to see friends and family. Parking and the local roadworks were a nightmare, especially with new permit parking everywhere. We were glad to leave and return to our new area. Breakfast at the much-extended and lovely Estuary at the Arches was brilliant. The show at the Palace Theatre was great, just plan ahead re parking!

Everywhere clean. Plenty shops. Pier great although it was winter weather so did not venture on but will come back when weather is warmer. Plenty of places to eat at reasonable prices. Will definitely come back in the summer.

We have annual membership to Adventure Island & even...
We have annual membership to Adventure Island & even though it being winter the outdoor rides weren't open, our son had fun in the arcades and indoor rides which were open. It's handy getting a bit of discount even on the arcades with the membership The walk along the sea front was nice even though chilly as between Xmas and new year. We went to Rossi's famous for it's ice-cream but only the kids were brave enough for something so cold !

Booked here for the Cliffs Pavillion in December for a function. An amazing surprise. A must to go to place, esepcially for the Christmas panto. Haven't been to Southend on Sea for many years and I must say how much it has improved. Only 40 minutes by train from London Liverpool Street, making an option for either a days outing, a long weekend or longer. The Royals Shopping Center was a big plus, as were the traditional seafood and famous fish and chip shops. The South End Pier railway is a nice way to get to and from the long pier, but of course you can walk there and back if you wish. There you'll find nice cafes, restaurants and amazing views over the river. It was a very pleasant surprise, would definately go back to

Winter is not the best , although it was great .. summer or spring you would get more out of the area .. there are brilliant Italian restaurants here .. and a fantastic.. Greek … the food restaurants are brilliant.. all of them , they are booked up quickly..which speaks for the level of how good they are

Only a mile to the pier and to the main shops and restaurants although there are other restaurants and bars just up the road from Edelweiss. Thank you Zara, will definitely stay again if we are in Southend on Sea and would recommend to Friends and Family.

Everything. Ive stayed at a few hotel's in Southend. Staff are always on hand. No noise from other rooms or people walking around. A tiny bit of noise from the beer garden and I mean tiny, that's to be expected. Rooms are amazing and great value for money. Cheap drinks and food downstairs. The most central hotel in Southend, best prices and facilities. We'll done.

The room and bathroom were very clean, spacious and well furnished. The location was really good, central for Southend and Westcliff-on-Sea, whilst being fairly quiet as it is at the end of a road. Staff all seemed friendly and helpful. We were lucky enough to get one of the few parking spaces in the car park at the rear, as we were visiting off season.
