Fantastic sea views great breakfast and excellent restaurant. Staff went out of their way to please us including getting me a bucket of water and rags to clean a lot of bird poo off our rental vehicle!

Hotel was perfect. If you don’t want to eat here every night there is a good selection of restaurants in walking distance. Great walks and views. Plenty of independent shops in the town. Plenty of pubs close by.
Whitstable is a lovely seaside town, well known for its fresh fish and restaurants. There is history here and plenty of eating/drinking places with a good selection of restaurants/pubs etc. also there are some lovely walks along the seafront to breathe in the fresh sea air and clear the cobwebs in your mind, you can see the sea for miles. Just a shame the beach is pebble and not sand.
Loved the town, especially near the harbour. Great place to do long walks. All of the restaurants we tried had fabulous seafood. Walking in town is easy and rewarding with so many small shops to peruse. We liked the wildlife walks and nature reserves all around Blean. The West Blean and Thornden woods had sculptered tree stumps and tree labels to inform walkers.
Full of character, pleasant people, lovely pubs and restaurants, well placed to explore lots of other interesting places. Ate at Wheelers, Birdies, Oyster Shack, all very good. The Fordwich Arms is a short drive away and does very good lunchtime /tasting menus. Broadstairs, Canterbury, Rochester lovely places for a day out. Lots of beautiful countryside and coastline to explore.
Whitstable’s continued connection to the oyster industry, its historical prominence as a working harbour with rail links to Canterbury, make it an interesting place to visit with an excellent local museum. Excellent seafood is available alongside a wide variety of independent shops. There are good coastal and inland walks as well as the sea with its opportunities for swimming and water activities.
whitstable is a gem of a seaside town , with a wealth of independent shops and charm , so i was disappointed to see the regular high street shop chains have recently muscled in , one of its attractions was its quirky and unusual nature i really hope it does not sell out and become just another regular high street

Amanda was an excellent host and made such an effort to accommodate our stay at Passenger house and arrange picking up of the keys. The place had all the necessities for a weekend getaway - it was within walking distance of Whitstable and the local shops and it had great facilities considering the property is on the small side. We also loved the decor and the property had more character and freedom than staying in a hotel.

Cliftonville House is in an excellent location just a brief (10 minutes) walk to the main attractions of Whitstable. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Undercover parking was provided adjacent to the property. Our host, Sue, was friendly and able to provide information about the town and other places to visit in the area. Top marks for the lovely cooked breakfast! Could not ask for more from a B&B!

Julie, our host was fantastic Welcomed us to the Lodge and whilst we knew she was around should we need help, we enjoyed total privacy. The Lodge itself is warm and cosy, great little kitchen, everything you need. The Lodge is literally just over the road from the sea. Easy to get into Whitstable for all the great seafood restaurants. Great outdoor area, bbq, heater, chairs.

Excellent location. Hotel recently undergone a tasteful refurbishment. Breakfast good and staff very helpful.. Did not eat at the hotel on this occasion. Drinks in bar very fairly priced. Fantastic terrace that over looks the estuary. Able to enjoy a glass of wine outside and watch an amazing sunset. Very memorable

Excellent location, on the beach but also very very close to the town centre. Free parking was a real bonus. Hotel Continental is a little bit of a trek from the huts, but definitely worth the effort for their excellent breakfast!

Tastefully decorated, plenty of room comfortable bed. Near the sea but quite away from Whitstable but I enjoyed the walk, despite being a windy wet night. Probably about 30 minutes along the seafront if you step out.

We thought the accommodation was excellent, the local information provided by Virginia prior to our visit ie restaurants to eat at, places to park was invaluable. The location was spot on, central but tucked away behind the main street.
