I'm Angela, married to Richard. We have houses in York, North Yorkshire and Barbados and split our time between the three, making them available for people to rent when we're not there. Note: We do allow hypoallergenic dogs such as Cockapoos, but unfortunately due to allergies in our family cannot accept dogs with coats that shed hairs.

Nun Monkton is a unique cul-de-sac village with minimal traffic. There are no street lights and the village green is still used to graze cattle in the spring and summer. Situated at the confluence of the Nidd and the Ouse, a ferry operates to Beningbrough and Moor Monkton at weekends between April and October. The award winning Alice Hawthorn (50 yards away) has recently undergone a major refurbishment and as well as an excellent restaurant has a friendly local bar. St Mary's Church, largely concealed by an amazing weeping Beech tree, has stained glass claimed to be the best in Yorkshire. Between York & Harrogate, easy to visit both by car or rail (station 3 miles).
