The living areas in this holiday home consist of an open-plan living space with kitchen equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and coffee machine, dining seating for two and sitting area with freeview TV. There is one double bedroom serviced by a shower room. Outside there is parking and a front patio with furniture, barbecue, hot tub and access to vineyard and woodland. Within 1.5 miles there is a shop and 0.4 miles a pub. One well-behaved dog welcome, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. The town of Blandford Forum, in the county of Dorset in England, sits on the banks of the Stour River. After a fire most of the town was rebuilt in the 18th century, at which time it acquired its distinctive Georgian style. To rebuild the town's historic core, King George II provided funding, and local architects John and William Bastard were commissioned to create new plans. Each year during the first week of May, Blandford hosts the Georgian Fayre, a celebration of the town's Georgian past that features talks, reenactments, music, and dancing. The Great Dorset Steam Fair is one of the town's most well-attended events, and it takes place on the late Bank Holiday weekend. A vibrant celebration featuring more than two thousand displays and a vintage steam fair. The area features a variety of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, and even a Georgian tearoom.
