Two bedroom dog friendly holiday cottage at the Gateway to the North York Moors. A few minutes walk from centre of the historic market town of Guisborough, a stylish, comfortable base to explore the forests, Green Ways and the beautiful North Yorkshire coast. The door opens from the garden into the sitting room with flat screen TV and wood burner for the cooler months. The kitchen / diner is well equipped and spacious with a washing machine and dishwasher. A welcome tea tray is included. The bedrooms have a king bed and two singles. The shower room is brand new and has a shower cubicle with rain shower. The garden is peaceful and south facing with table and chairs and two sun loungers. Saltburn by the Sea is a beautiful Victorian resort and is a few minutes drive, or you can walk it in a morning along the Cleveland Way. Whitby is 30 minutes, a day's free parking is included in your stay. The forests and cycle ways are on the doorstep, the famous Roseberry Topping and Captain Cook's Monument are doable in a day. The parking on the lane can be tight though there is also plenty of on-street parking a few minutes away. There are steps to the property front and back. The staircase is typical of the house type and is quite steep. There are hand rails either side and it shouldn't be a problem to anyone of reasonable mobility.
