Our attractive and newly renovated apartment provides every modern comfort, on the first floor of a beautiful Victorian terrace ,situated in the heart of Southsea. It provides a relaxing lounge area ,superfast broadband, flat screen T.V and a modern kitchen with all facilities including washing machine and dishwasher. The three bedrooms provide comfortable beds . The flat is in a peaceful residential street,but close to all amenities. There is a combination boiler in the single bedroom. It is a sealed unit and perfectly safe.The boiler is on a timer.If you want heating during the day, you can turn the switch from'timer' to 'on'.There is a thermostat beside the boiler to control the temperature.You will need to turn this up when you arrive to the temperature you require.Please turn the thermostat down to 10 degrees when you leave,and turn the boiler back to timer.You can also control the temperature in each room by turning the radiator OFF and ON at each radiator.If you want to use the electric radiator in the bathroom, the switch is in the bedroom behind it. We supply you with a free parking permit for the duration of your stay for one car/van.You can use this in a number of roads surrounding the flat .(You will find the map at the flat of our 'KC'zone.)Please leave this permit in the flat when you leave.
Our lovely flat is within 100 metres of the buzz of Southsea's shopping centre ,restaurants and bars. Also Southsea Common the 100 acre public area, which fronts several miles of beach, offers a castle, two piers, a funfair, the D-Day museum, tennis, golf, numerous cafes, a hovercraft to the Isle of Wight. Also offering recreation and BBQ areas, a skatepark and playparks. It also hosts festivals, circuses and shows. Fairly close is 'Old Portsmouth' with it's hot walls' and 'spice island', fantastic views over Portsmouth harbour and Navy warships, the Cathedral and Historic Dockyard with its famous ships. Also there is Gunwharf Quays retail outlet , more restaurants and Spinnaker tower. Close by is Albert road with the Kings Theatre, Wedgewood Rooms and a host of independent shops, cafes and craft ale and wine bars. Free parking is available in roads nearby with our complementary permit for 'KC' zone (Also overnight at Waitrose car park),but like all cities parking is limited. There are plenty of paying carparks nearby. Please ask when booking and I will forward the free parking map.
