We had a fantastic time at The Splash water park, enjoyed...
We had a fantastic time at The Splash water park, enjoyed the train rides, walking on the shoreline was so refreshing. We visited Arundel Castle and went to Picturedrome Cinema. It was a holiday to remember!!

There is not just Bognor.
There is not just Bognor. It is a mini conglomeration running from Elmer Beach to Pagham all distinctly different. There a very frequent bus services to Chichester and Littlehampton. Aundel is also accessible. Bognor might be summed up by the half of the pier that is still left. All the guest houses have long gone and the town planners have not been kind in replacing lots of lovely old buildings with monstrosities. Still it's half a pier; it is still Bognor and despite everything still has some charm

Liked: The Bathroom was clean, we had pool to ourselves. The hotel was facing beach. Polish chef is Incredible. Free parking. Staff very friendly.
Not liked: King size room was hot and smelt bad. We simple opened window and helps so much. No Aircon but they had 2 fans. A half drank avian bottle of water was left in our room , plus tissue paper was on floor beside bin. A slice of birthday cake was left out in the hotel room uncovered, with no spoon/fork, plate or napkins ?
You could only book pool for 30minutes.

Bognor has retained some old world charm but is very rundown. Many old and dilapidated buildings and the newer buildings along the esplanade are not architecturally impressive.The Butlins compound is particularly tacky.
The sea front is pleasant if you're looking out to the sea. It's clean as is the beach but it is mainly pebbles. No sand until tide is far out.
It has some nice restaurants and traditional seaside entertainment but I wouldn't highly recommended it as a seaside holiday town. But pleasant enough especially if you are in the area for other reasons.

It's a shame that Bognor is suffering the same as most south coast towns
Lack of investment. Lots of empty hotels boarded up. Pubs had no bitter Ale even Wetherspoons only had 2 cheap ones.
Best pub we found was Victoria Inn in Victoria Road, worth the walk. Real pub.

This hotel is in the perfect location-right on the beach and within walking distance of the village, as well as Bognor town. Our rooms were wonderful-clean, very comfy beds and super views to the sea. The breakfast was really good-wide choice to suit everyone and cooked to order. But the most praise should go to the staff who were very friendly-all of the receptionists were incredibly helpful and the cleaners did a great job. We will be back!

The apartment was in a great location overlooking the seafront and pier, a short walk from the seafront attractions. Mini golf and a childrens play area were also nearby.
The apartment was compact, just enough room for the 5 of us but cosy and well heated as the weather at Easter was not the best.
There was an Easter firework display from the end of the pier so we had a grandstand view from our balcony.

Lovely place located short walk to a nice restaurant, local shop and about 10min walk to the seafront with a long promenade. Bed was comfy and the host left us some milk (THANK YOU!!) and water in the fridge.
Spacious room with separate bathroom and kitched area, with a kitchen table, fridge and cooker and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Off-road parking is provided.

In a quiet street very close to the seafront, with a small supermarket and food outlets nearby and a short walk from the train station and Bognor town centre, this clean, warm apartment was very suitable for my one night stay. The shower was particularly good. Having the fridge, microwave, crockery and cutlery provided would have been useful for a longer stay.
