The living areas in this single-storey, studio-style property consist of a kitchen area with electric oven, microwave, fridge and kettle, a dining area for two with a TV and a double bed. There is also a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Outside there is off-road parking for one car and a small lawned garden. Within 2.7 miles there is a shop and 3.2 miles a pub. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Escape to the Peak District for a couple’s getaway at Hideaway. On the western side of The Peaks, the charming Moorland scenery envelops the hillside market town of Leek, dubbed "The Queen of the Moorlands." A remnant of the town's success when it was well-known as a centre for silk manufacturing, the town includes a picturesque market square with cobblestones and several examples of fine Victorian architecture influenced by William Morris. Today, Leek has a wide range of stores, including sizable antique stores, a fair selection of restaurants, a neighbourhood park, recreational amenities, and real ale pubs. Leek is close to Chatsworth House, the Buxton Opera House, Gawsworth Hall, and Alton Towers. It is also close to Three Shires Head, the intersection of the counties of Cheshire, Derbyshire, and Staffordshire.
