    “The location was excellent and the house was lovely inside. There were 6 adults and there was plenty of room for us all. The kitchen was really well equipped with a bottle and some biscuits left for when we arrived. Beds are really comfy.”

Hoopoe Cottage is a modern 4 bedroom lakeside house in the exclusive Lower Mill Estate. In a beautiful 550 acre nature reserve with an award-winning spa, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts and playgrounds. Our spacious accommodation is set over 3 floors with the ground floor decking and two bedrooms having a balcony overlooking Clearwater Lake. The large rear deck with frameless balustrade keeps little ones safe without affecting the view and faces south west with sun all day from around 11am, perfect for sunset drinks. To preserve tranquility the Lower Mill Estate has a Code of Conduct that all guests must sign for the booking to be complete, please provide your email address to send this too. No bookings of single sex groups over 6 people are allowed. Anyone in breach of the Code of Conduct may be fined or asked to leave the estate immediately.
Hoopoe Cottage is situated on Lower Mill Estate, a large nature reserve in the Cotswold Water Park area with a collection of lovely holiday homes built around seven lakes. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and the picturesque villages of the Cotswolds. There is 1 complimentary parking space for the house, with visitor spaces and overflow car parks available for additional guests. The nearest train station is Kemble, about a 10 minute drive away.
