Excellent location, right by the beach. We have traveled with a friend, and stayed here overnight. It so happened that we were the only visitors to the guesthouse at the time, as such the "shared" bathroom was indeed just a bathroom only used by the two of us. Same goes for the kitchen. It was really lovely: we rented a room only, but it felt like we had the entire house to ourselves. I enjoyed making coffee in the mocha pot, and the late night conversations with my friend in the cozy kitchen!

A really beautiful place filled with amazing decor. Gorgeous kitchen (I didn't get a chance to use it but it looked lovely). Room was perfect for just me, and the bathroom - although I'm sure was shared - seemed like it was just for me as well. Very clean place and extremely beautiful.

Access to the kitchen , including tea and coffee in the morning, was great! Room was small but very tidy and smartly arranged. Window was openable with a sliver of a view and very nice to get some sea air! Shared bathroom was very nice and cleaned each day

I got the tiny cozy single room and I immediately fell in love with how cozy and inviting and just perfect it was for one! I absolutely loved it! Everything was impeccably clean. The kitchen, living room, bathroom, and kitchen were nicely updated and the decor was adorable. I love simple, clean, well-kept, affordable accommodations and Maes Bach ticked all the boxes! We loved the location! Came to take my daughter to the University. Staff came daily to clean the bathrooms and take care of any needs we had. Conveniently next to a laundromat, Sheltered from the sea wind and close to all our needs. Bus and train station just a short walk away. Highly recommend!

The lady at reception was very polite and helpful even though we were earlier than expected . The house was beautifully decorated and there was off road parking spaces available at the front of the building. The beds were soft but very comfy once you had climbed in. The bedroom and bathrooms were immaculate and had quirky finishes. The place is perfectly situated a minute from the seafront and main shopping areas. The cinema is next door. There are plenty of great places to eat, a 24hr spar a few minutes away selling hot and cold foods and there is a full kitchen, including freezer fridge and cooker, toaster etc on site for guests to use . Feels very relaxed and more like being at home than an Accommodation. There is a shared bathroom, but it is only shared by one twin and a single room, the other two rooms have their own en-suite.

Amazing property with gorgeously appointed rooms and surroundings and top notch shared spaces. It has obviously been renovated fairly recently with really beautiful, modern finishes. Located a short walk from Constitution Hill and the rest of town. Aberystwyth was a hidden gem for us on our journey and this property was an amazing find.
