Renovated cottage, small paved area, with lovely view over Roberttown park. Country side walks on the doorstep. Kitchenette, 2 bedrooms 1 double .PLEASE NOTE 2nd single bedroom and bathroom are accessed through the main bedroom so ideal for couples or friends and family sharing. Double Sofa bed in living room. Central heating , PLEASE NOTE (NO TV ) But we do have WiFi, oven, fridge , microwave, toaster iron, fan, towels, hair dryer, washing machine, basic cleaning product’s available.
Hoping you will enjoy your stay in park view cottage. Parking is in the Local Cricket Club car park opposite.
Roberttown is a lovely village situated between Leeds and Huddersfield a few miles from the M62 Brighouse junction 25. The cottage is beside Roberttown park with views over farmland with many public footpaths. Roberttown village has a Cricket club, working men’s club, New Inn pub all within 2 minutes walk. The village also has a great butchers (Buckles) charity shop, Food for thought cafe, Reeds cafe, gift shops, hairdressers, beauticians . 10 minutes walk away is Haigh’s farm shop , small Sainsbury’s, Hartshead and Whitegates pub and Whiteleys garden centre and cafe. Roberttown village has a Church, community centre and has a lovely community spirit. It is also close to the newly built Spenborough sports and pool complex and Oakwell Hall Country park. There are many local bronte and Luddite interests nearby. Piece Hall and Shibden Hall , Halifax is a 20min drive. Bus routs to Leeds, Huddersfield and Mirfield train station where trains run to Leeds , Huddersfield and Manchester. Lovely Brighouse and it’s market and canal is a 10 minute drive away.
