If travelling in a larger group, we have a house next door which also accommodates up to 10 people, in a very similar layout of 5 bedrooms and 5 ensuite shower rooms. Simply click on my host profile to view the other listing, and check the availability of the other property. Ground Floor: Hallway entrance with contemporary coat hangers on the wall, leading to the stylish open plan dining living quarters. The living area is lovely and bright with the feature of a bay window. Hardwood plantation shutters are installed throughout, which allow you to manage daylight to your liking and privacy. There is plenty of space to relax on the two large sofa sets. Watch a film or your favourite boxset on the wall mounted Smart TV. You are guaranteed to fight over the L-shaped sofa! In the dining area, the impressively long wooden table seats up to 10 for breakfast and home cooked meals. The kitchen is suitably equipped for a comfortable stay. Appliances include use of two fridge freezers, a washer dryer, dishwasher, 4 ovens, a large electric hob, microwave, toaster and kettle. There are three bedrooms on the first floor and two bedrooms on the second (top) floor. Each double bedroom has a double wardrobe and long length mirror, as well has its own private en-suite shower room for extra comfort! Every en-suite bathroom includes a shower cubicle, wash hand basin and toilet. First Floor: The Pink Watercolour bedroom includes a double bed and single en-suite shower. The Blue Oriental bedroom includes a king size bed and double en-suite shower. The Myanmar bedroom includes a king size bed and double en-suite shower. Second Floor: The Pink Oriental bedroom has a king size bed and single en-suite shower. The Egyptian bedroom has a king size bed and double en-suite shower. Outside: There is a decked yard with some French bistro style furniture. The rear gate leads to the parking space which is accessed down the alleyway. The parking space is only suitable for a small car.

York, England, United Kingdom If you turn right from the house and head to the steps at the bottom lefthand corner of the street, you quickly arrive at the River Ouse. Turning left you’ll have a pleasant stroll into town, walking past the museum gardens and Star Inn the City - a great place for alfresco drinks or a wonderful evening meal. Maybe hop on a boat for a river tour. Alternatively, if you turn right you can walk or cycle towards Clifton Ings and you immediately forget you’re in a city! If you walk left from the house a few short steps will find you Yoga Bomb - there’s no need to skip your yoga fix! Or turn right at the main road and you’ll arrive at Gillygate in under ten minutes. York’s Art Gallery and Theatre Royal are both located here and it’s also a great starting point for a walk along the city walls. Go to the York Information Center (1 Museum St, York YO1 7DT, 8 min walk). The beautifully landscaped museum gardens are just a 3-minute walk from the Marygate entrance. If you enjoy authentic Italian food we highly recommend Gillygate’s Mamma Mia. Five minutes through the gate and you arrive at the Minster and a plethora of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars to suit all tastes. Check out The Ivy, Betty’s Tea Rooms, Lucia’s, Plush Cafe, Vodka Revolution, Jalou...there’s just too many to list!
