This gorgeously finished, incredibly comfortable apartment is on the 1st floor, with lift access, and within a modern, secure gated complex. You can expect to find high quality furnishings, and interiors finished to an immaculate standard. Explore the cultural and historic attractions simply minutes away from the property. Sainsbury's Local, pubs and frequent bus services are on your doorstep. Nearby, Bishopthorpe Road and Micklegate have a fantastic range of local shops and amenities The space The entrance area leads to each room. Bathroom, bedroom, beautiful and spacious kitchen and living room. The bedroom has a king size bed and the addition of a Juliette balcony looking out onto Skeldergate below. There is plenty of storage space available with a wardrobe, vanity unit (with stool and mirror) and night tables with reading lamps. Fresh white bedding and towels are provided (hand towel and bath towel per person), as well as miniature travel sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel and soap. All of our linen is hotel quality and professionally cleaned after each stay. The kitchen is equipped with appliances such as a refrigerator-freezer, washer-dryer, electric stove with oven, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. A waste disposal unit sits next to the kitchen sink and offers a practical and efficient solution to food waste. The kitchen is stocked with cooking equipment for those who would like to prepare a home cooked meal or enjoy breakfast at home. There will be some complimentary tea/coffee waiting for you which I am sure will be useful for those arriving after a long journey! Our Nepressso Vertuo machine will come with a selection of pods. Other items included are a washing-up pack, toilet roll and kitchen roll, which will last a couple of days. (If wish to purchase more for your stay there is a Sainsbury's Local a few minutes walk away.)

Neighbourhood information

Located just outside of Bishophill, directly on Skeldergate, we are less than five minutes walk to the city centre. Supermarkets: - There is a Sainsburys Local on Micklegate, open 7am-11pm and it has a 24 hour ATM. This is a two minute walk from my apartment. - There is a Tesco Express in Low Ousegate, open 6am- midnight. 5 minutes walk, and on your route to the city centre. - There is a large Marks and Spencers food hall on Parliament Street. 7 minutes walk, and inside the city centre. - For a fantastic range of local shops and a community feel, head to Bishopthorpe Road which is approximately 10 minutes walk. Cafes/Restaurants: York is full of lovely cafes, bars and restaurants, all within walking distance. The Golden Ball is the local community pub. Fossgate and Walmgate have a nice selection of independent restaurants, or head to Stonegate for more well known brands.
