This modern apartment is light and airy, and has been thoughtfully designed with guest comfort in mind. The lounge has an inviting seating area, which is perfect for unwinding at the end of a fun day exploring the many attractions nearby. There is a desk area too, which many guests will find to be a convenient feature. The sofa converts into a sofa bed, please note you need to bring your own linen for using or hiring linen is available for an additional charge of GBP20. Please inform the host if required so this can be organised. In the well equipped and functional kitchen you'll find everything you need for your stay, including a handy Nespresso coffee machine, were you can enjoy a meal with views of the mountains, forest and river. You'll enjoy a refreshing wash in the shower room, which has been tasefully decorated with patterned tiles, and boasts a twin head shower. The bedroom decor is very much a nod to the beautiful colours of the landscape around the town of Bethesda. Wooden bed frame and furniture, as well as green soft furnishings give a suitable feel to this peaceful space. There is a free standing mirror in the room, as well as a smart TV. Outside the apartment on the opposite side of the road, you'll find a quaint park area, which is a great space to enjoy the outdoors without straying far from the property. Bethesda is former slate quarrying town on the foothills of Snowdonia National Park, and on the banks of the River Ogwen. It's perfectly placed for guests to enjoy the spectacular scenery which is a popular spot for walking, climbing, cycling, and various water activities. Other local attractions including the popular Zipworld, are just a few minutes away. Zip World Penrhyn Quarry is home to Velocity 2, the world's fastest zip line, and Quarry Karts, the UK's only mountain cart track. Reaching speeds of up to 100 mph, Velocity 2 is also a guided adventure experience that lasts for approx 2 hours, and is located in the most dramatic of settings amongst the mountains of north Wales. Want to stay a bit closer to the ground? Quarry Karts is the ultimate test of nerve as you make your way along the 3km slate track in our gravity-fuelled 3 wheelers, and take in the stunning views of the snowdonia mountain range. The Quarry Flyer is great for those not quite ready for the mega zip, nonetheless this zip line experience gives you amazing views of the quarry lake. There's a selection of shops within the town, including Bethesda Whole Foods (150m), Tesco express (190m), Londis (500m). Recommended eateries nearby are Caffi Seren, Tafarn Tryfan Inn and a collection of takeaways serving Pizza, Fish & Chips, Chinese and Indian cuisine.
