Once the home of Lord Snowdon, Plas Dinas Country House now offers traditional country house accommodation set in 15 acres of beautiful grounds. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Plas Dinas Country House is between the mountains of Snowdonia and the Irish Sea. It has individually designed rooms with original family portraits, a flat-screen TV and Molton Brown toiletries. The Gunroom restaurant features award-winning Welsh chef Daniel ap Geraint and offers two sittings (6pm & 8pm) each evening. Advance booking is essential. Breakfast includes cooked and continental options, and is served in the dining room overlooking the picturesque garden. Good road links make Plas Dinas Country House accessible from many of North Wales’s popular attractions. The hotel is only 10 minutes’ drive from the World Heritage site of Caernarfon.

Plas Dinas is very much a country home, often described by guests as feeling more like spending a weekend with a wealthy relative, relaxed but not pretentious, in beautiful surroundings.
Owners Daniel and Annie Perks have many years of hospitality experience which has created a unique setting on the borders of Snowdonia.
Plas Dinas is perfectly located to explore the popular Snowdonia region. The hills and mountains around Llanberis, Betws-y-coed and Beddgelert are a short drive away, perfect for walkers and adventurous cyclists. The Royal Town of Caernarfon, with its majestic castle is but a 5 minute drive away as are the beaches of Dinas Dinhle and the Menai Strait. The Isle of Anglesey is visible from many of our rooms with award winning beaches just a short drive away. The spectacular Lleyn Peninsula and the towns of Abersoch and Aberdaron are also within easy reach. Motorway access is excellent with motorway all the way to the nearby town of Bangor providing convenient access to Chester, the Midlands, Manchester and the M6. Just a short drive from Plas Dinas you will find many wonderful attractions that offer high adrenaline experiences including Zip World, Rib Ride, Go Below and Tree Tops Adventures. For the pilots out there, why not fly into Caernarfon Airport which is about 8 - 10 minutes drive from us and visible from our garden.
