Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and the bar very nice. We particularly loved the upstairs lounge area with the balcony looking over the water.

The Portbyhan Hotel is situated on the quayside overlooking the picturesque Cornish fishing port of Looe. The hotel is in an unrivalled position in the heart of West Looe, just 5 minutes' walk from Looe Railway Station. Our hotels bedrooms are lovely with not one the same. From cosy and quirky to spacious, family friendly, all rooms feature a TV and tea/coffee-making facilities. Guests can also make use of hairdryers and ironing facilities and some rooms also feature balconies with river views. The Portbyhan features live music, as well as a games room with a pool table. The bar is filled with a warm and welcoming ambiance and is an excellent place to relax, enjoy a drink and watch the world go by. Serving a wide selection of beers, wines, spirits, cocktails and local guest ales. We also have a our hidden gem, The Upper Lounge & Sun Terrace Area. Situated within West Looe, the hotel is less than 5 minutes’ walk to River Looe and Looe’s shops. Liskeard is 15 minutes’ drive away.
