The property is a two bedroom, first floor flat. Our flat is location just a 2 minute walk from Porthtowan beach. The flat has been renovated to a high standard and provides an open plan lounge- kitchen/diner space with self catering facilities and a great space to relax. There is dining space for 4 people. A high chair is also available upon request There are two bedrooms. The main bedroom features a double bed and the further bedroom has single bunk beds. Both bedrooms have storage space. There is one bathroom which has a bath and over bath shower. The flat is located on the upper floor of a 2 storey block of flats. It is accessed via steps at the back of the property. The flat has a small balcony which is a lovely sun trap and features a small patio table and chairs. Towels and linen are provided for your stay. Free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Please note that phone signal throughout Porthtowan village is poor. There is free on-site parking available directly outside of the property.

The flat is a 2 minute walk from Porthtowan beach. It is a popular blue flag beach, with seasonal RNLI lifeguard service, and has great waves for surfing and body boarding, sand dunes and rock pools. It is a sandy beach which at low tide stretches nearly 1.5miles to include Chapel Porth beach. It is set in valley with high cliffs which provide some shelter from the wind. Fabulous coastal walks are also on the doorstep and it is a great base for exploring Cornwall, whether that be by foot (via coastal walks) or via car. Please note that public transport in/out of Porthtowan is limited and therefore a car is recommended for accessing amenities outside of the village. Porthtowan is a small coastal village. It has 2 lovely pubs, both of which serve food, a small (but well stocked) village shop, fish and chip shop, icecream shop, cafe and some beach shops. There is also a children’s play park. These are all a 2 minute walk from the flat. Porthtowan is a short drive from Truro and also smaller towns/villages such as Perranporth, St Agnes and Porthtreath. There is a large choice of pubs, cafes, restaurants, and large supermarkets within a short drive (15 minutes) from the flat.
