White cotton bed linen,fluffy robes & Molton Brown toiletries. Well equipped kitchen, Nespresso machine, microwave, cooker, fridge freezer, coffee & Yorkshire Tea. dishwasher & washing machine. Smart TV in the lounge and bedroom. Red Lion Loft has been hosting since 2013 and has proved popular with business travellers & tourists, including sports & show business personalities. Red Lion Loft is quietly located away from the road off a private driveway & secure parking is included for up to 2 cars outside the door. The village is well endowed with 3 pubs, restaurant, takeaways, post office, a Tesco Local & a range of shops all within a short walking distance. SAMPLE REVIEW "Beautiful loft apartment. We instantly felt at home. Loved the furnishings and the little extra touches likes the Molton Brown toiletries and towelling dressing gowns. One of the nicest we have stayed in. Would recommend. Louise has gone the extra mile to ensure that everything that is needed is available - dishwasher, washing machine, heating, gowns, Nespresso, lovely cutlery and crockery, wonderful linen, fantastically clean, a large private flat to oneself. 5 Star luxury. I have lived in Old Blidworth for over 40 years and have been hosting guests in Red Lion Loft since 2013. I enjoy staying in good quality hotels and holiday properties and this inspired me to provide self catering accommodation of a high standard. I have enjoyed hosting guests from all corners of the globe, many of whom have become regular visitors and friends. Red Lion Loft is self contained and guests have appreciated the privacy & comfort offered, in the knowledge that I am always available to deal with any problems. This has been reflected in the positive feedback left by guests and attainment of 4 star gold award status by Visit Britain.
A great place to stay in the Sherwood Forest conservation area village of Old Blidworth. Nottingham City Centre is less than 30 minutes drive and we are close to Mansfield, Southwell, Newark & M1 motorway junctions 27 & 28. Derbyshire Peak District, Newstead Abbey, Rufford Park, Sherwood Pines, Clumber Park, White Post Farm & Wheelgate Adventure Park are just some of the nearby places to visit. The local countryside and forest around Blidworth offers opportunities for walking, cycling & horse riding. Blidworth is well endowed with pubs and takeaways, including the Black Bull Bar & Bistro awarded 'Best Restaurant in Nottinghamshire', serving gourmet food, pizzas & breakfasts. No need to take the car if you want a meal out and a drink! Plenty of golf courses locally, including Oakmere Park, 2 miles away in the next village. Also, clay pigeon shooting, adventure karting & riding schools nearby.
