Redwood Lodge is a single-storey lodge with one king-size bedroom with a Smart TV, and a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. There's an open-plan living space with a kitchen fitted with an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, and dishwasher, kettle toaster, a dining area and sitting area with Smart TV. Amenities include underfloor heating in the bathroom, infrared panel heating, WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels. Outside there is off-road parking for two cars and a front terrace with decking, lawn, furniture, and access to a five-acre paddock. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Nearest shop and pub in 2.7 miles. Redwood Lodge is a wonderful base for a romantic break to Shropshire. Note: This property only accepts adults. Note: Dogs must be kept on the lead at all times, and must also be kept off the bed. Note: Check-in from 4pm, check-out by 10am

Between the Shropshire Meres and the well-known Shropshire to Llangollen canal, in the region known as Shropshire's Lakeland, is the charming market town of Ellesmere, with its Tudor, Georgian, and Victorian structures. This tranquil town, which was formerly a fortified Anglo-Saxon village, is rich in history. It has a beautiful church with a roof that dates to the 15th century, and Thomas Telford lived there when the canal system was being built in the late 18th century. The town also offers a good selection of stores, bars, and eateries, as well as a tonne of entertainment on and near the nearby meres.
