Stag Cottage is part of Hayeswood Farm, which sits in its own grounds of approximately 25 acres, and with beautiful local walks a-plenty. The cottage has been recently renovated and includes a bedroom with attached shower room, and living room with kitchen combined. It has its own entrance and shared parking space. The kitchen area includes a full size oven, microwave, fridge as well as tea and coffee making facilities. The living area includes a comfortable sofa and Smart TV, as well as a selection of games and books, and boasts a beautiful view of the local countryside, where deer can often be seen. The shower room includes towels and complimentary toiletries. Complimentary welcome treats are included with your stay, including a welcome breakfast hamper serving a continental breakfast for 2 nights. Please note that Stag Cottage is in a rural location and situated up an unmade road.

Simon and Paula have been running Hayeswood Farm for around 6 years. They are in the process of renovating this old smallholding and lovingly bringing it back to life. The smallholding has various livestock, including chickens and ducks, goats, and horses.

Stag Cottage is situated in the middle of South Derbyshire countryside, but is a mere 20 minutes away from Derby City Centre. There are many local walks and trails direct from the cottage, and for golf lovers, Morley Hayes, and Breadsall Priory are both very near.
