Pheasant house is just 15minute walk into the centre of Cirencester. Cirencester is a beautiful market town with fabulous restaurants, farmers market and charter market twice a week. Lovely independent shops and amazing choice of restaurants. St John the Baptist Church in the middle of town is one of the largest Cotswold Stone parish churches. Tours are available of the Church tower and give an impressive view of the town centre. Check their website for availability. The church also backs onto the Abbey grounds perfect for a walk around. The Corinium Museum is only a couple of minutes walk away displaying Roman artefacts and mosaics. Cirencester has lots to offer but is also a great location to explore the rest of the Cotswolds too like Bibury, Bourton on the Water, Tetbury and Cheltenham or Gloucester. Within minutes walking distance from the house you have a large football field, 2 skateparks and an outdoor gym. There are 4 large supermarkets in Cirencester and also Uber Eats and Deliveroo if you are wanting to stay in with a take away one night.
