Built in 1840 (>40 years prior to the construction of Margate's Clocktower), the building has recently been through a full & sympathetic restoration to bring it back to its former glory with many added modern comforts. The apt is fitted with a super-king bed or can be fitted with twin single beds upon request. Whilst being perfect for anyone wishing to be in the centre of it all, it's also a very peaceful place where watching the world go by comes at a must. With scenic views of the park, Margate's main sands & the north shore coastline, the apt also boasts a modern & elegant decor with many useful features that accentuate the feeling of timeless relaxation. The apt has thick pile carpets, bluetooth audio bathroom mirror, smart 4k TV, filtered drinking water, wine chiller, etc, all designed to make one feel at home. The apt even has ceiling infrared heater panels used for room heating & studies show that exposure to infrared stimulate the mitochondria in our skin cells which helps to (a) lower glucose levels in the blood (b) boost metabolism & (c) fight desease. Margate itself has a creative influence over most people who spend time here. I taught myself to kitesurf here & I now instruct & advocate kitesurfing as a lifestyle. We're so lucky in Margate to have an all new wakeboard park called Whitemills Wake on our doorstep. Thanks to our microclimate, we also have some of the best conditions nationally for kitesurfing and SUPing. It seems like every month there's new developments in the area so there's always something to do in Thanet and it's a great place to lead a healthy lifestyle, whether that be running, cycling, yoga, going out for a walk or trying out the new Sea Scrub Sauna on Margate beach! >75% of people globally have a Vitamin D deficiency so taking the time to venture out around 'Sunny Margate' has surely got to be a good thing.
