We recently became acquainted with Carlisle and the surrounding areas - really wishing we had come here sooner! We keep the house as a base for ourselves and family to stay when in the area and we're keen to share it with others who might appreciate the great location enjoy the property. Recently acquired by and managed by Velo Apartments Ltd. The house has just been re-decorated for the winter season. This quality town-house offers luxury living for up to 6 tourists or professionals. Situated in a central, quiet residential location, it’s an ideal base from which to explore Carlisle, the Lake District, North Pennines and the Solway Coast.

Neighbourhood information

Carlisle nestles on the northern tip of the stunning Lake District in the north west of England. The townhouse is conveniently located within the city, with all the local shops, restaurants and cafés within easy reach. The city has as lively nightlife, with nightclubs, bars and pubs in which you can relax and unwind. If history is more your thing, then Carlisle Castle and Hadrian’s Wall are both just a short distance away, while a little further afield over the border with Scotland is the famous Gretna Green. There’s more green even closer to home though, in the form of Bitts Park, which features its own café as well as a children’s play area, sports facilities and picturesque riverside walks. If you need access to Cumberland Infirmary, it’s less than a five minute walk from your front door. Being so near the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and much more the area attracts its fair share of walkers and cyclists.
