In a rural location at the foot of the Blackdown Hills, only 2 miles from the county town of Taunton. This beautifully presented converted self contained stable sleeps 2 adults, plus the option of 1 child on a double sofa bed in the snug, which is open plan just off the kitchen. Modern facilities including Wi-Fi, Smart TV, under floor heating, the single-storey property boasts an open plan kitchen diner with high ceiling and exposed timber beams. An ideal rural retreat with coastline and historic towns in easy reach, ‘The Stable at the Lawn’ is in a secluded setting in the grounds of a Georgian House. Surrounded by glorious countryside and walks with excellent cycle routes on the Blackdown Hills and Quantocks both Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Within a short walk you have a local village pub and a short drive to many romantic restaurants. Well behaved dogs welcome (25GBP charge per stay, limited to 2 small dogs or one medium sized). A peaceful courtyard garden lies at the front with gated private driveway with parking for two cars. All linen and towels are provided.
