This is a great location for exploring Great Langdale. With fantastic walks, climbing and cycling straight from the door. Thrang Brow is perfect if you are looking for adventure in the mountains or somewhere to relax and enjoy the view. Thrang Brow is a perfect base for enjoying the Lake District National Park. In the village of Chapel Stile with only a 5 minute walk to the local shop and pub. The property is over 3 floors. The basement floor has a small single bedroom, a bathroom and a utility/store room. The ground floor has a living room with dining area and fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher. The third floor has a second bathroom and two bedrooms.
We live in Great Langdale with our three children. We enjoy the great outdoors and spend as much time as possible walking, climbing and outdoor swimming in the local area. We enjoy providing a comfortable holiday home so our guests can also enjoy beautiful Great Langdale.
The house is on a quiet terrace. It is close to the local co-op which is open 7 days a week 9-5.30pm. Brambles café is located above the co-op serving breakfasts and lunches. Wainwrights pub is also in the village with pub meals served all day. Also within walking distance there is Langdale Hotel and Spa. Here you can buy day passes for the swimming pool, gym and spa. If you are wanting a longer walk the pubs at the head of the valley are also worth a visit, The Old Dugeon Ghyll is our favourite.
