The hotel is super pretty. I love the decor and setup even though the facilities were rather limited. Kudos to the night reception guy (my bad for not remembering his name) who is always friendly and helpful. He has a great attitude for this service industry. The Linthwaite House Hotel experience is a must have at least once in a life time. The hotel’s location is superb, the cleanliness level is beyond words, the staff are SUPER HELPFUL and friendly. Jasmine was the cherry on top, the solution oriented and who would never fail to put a smile on your face. Marco saved us by sending hotel’s car to pick us when we got trapped in heavy rain in windermere and were not finding any taxi. Linthwaite, I really hope I can visit again and meet same staff and enjoy paradise on earth.

Lovely part of the world. With or without the sunshine.

Lovely part of the world. With or without the sunshine. Plenty of places to eat and drink to suit all palettes. Great outdoor seating at many places, to sit and relax and watch the world go by. Lots of shops, a good mix of High Street names and quirky independent retailers. All the amenities are with in walking distance of the town center, 5 minute walk to the Lake, where you will find lots more to do, including boat trips, a park and lovely eateries.

We have been back to Bowness probably around once a year for a couple of days for the past 25 years, we love the place and after this length of time the bars feel like a local, especially the Hole in 'T' Wall and Sol Bar. Typical Lakes weather though, but rain does not put you off.

Bowness is a beautiful place to visit, there is something for everyone. There are really good bus links and there’s the lake cruise as well as being able to travel by boat to Ambleside!! There are lots of walks around the area too! Definitely worth a visit, we’ve been a few times already and would return again👍.

Graham was really pleasant and allowed us to park the car at the door to drop off our luggage. The carpark was only a few minutes walk away. Rooms were clean and tidy. Shower and bathroom bigger then expected and fabulous to use as we were two girls sharing getting ready for a wedding. Breakfast was delicious, presentation beautifully set out. All other guests seemed friendly and chatted. It was a stones throw to the belsfield hotel to which our wedding was.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Fellview. The owners are so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and we had a great night's sleep. Very central location, only a few minutes walk down the road to Bowness on Windermere. Free parking outside the guest house. We would 100% recommend and look forward to staying again soon.

Location was good, breakfast was good, however the room was very noisy from 22:00 until way into the early hours. If we had known this hotel was more of a night spot we would not have chosen this venue. The hotel should make it clear that at the weekends they runs as a late bar with music, this way the people like us who may have not wanted this could have looked elsewhere.
