Very clean room and super comfortable bed

A very brief stay with my dog as a stop over from London to Belfast. Amazing staff who made us feel very welcome (treats and a brief game of ball!) The bathroom was sparkling!

The location was excellent. The staff were very friendly.

Fantastic location right in the heart of Bowness, last night (Friday) the pub was buzzing with people and live music.

It was good, clean and beds comfortable.

Location and atmosphere. Very comfortable and great place to relax

Close walk to all shops, restaurants and cafes. Parking available which a plus.

Hotel overall was fantastic. Decor in rooms was lovely, facilities were more than adequate, and the hot tub was huge for two people. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The view from our superior hot tub room was unreal looking over Lake Windermere. Same goes for the view from the hotel restaurant. Staff were lovely and took their time explaining everything to us. Location was also great, just 5 minutes drive from Bowness on Windermere.

Everything was perfect. The General Manager personally helped us, as we had made a wrong booking. He went out of his way to help. The staff were friendly.

Was one of the most comfy beds so far on our trip, very good breakfasts & wonderful evening meals. Was a very nice touch to have a complimentary bottle of champagne in the fridge,

The room was very comfortable, clean and pretty. The view from a Victorian window on the beautiful garden all the way to the lake was amazing! The bar and restaurant area is quite large, warm and homey. The fireplace was a nice touch as it was a rainy November evening outside.

The property was beautiful in a reserved old building style. The breakfast room/dining room was gorgeous and the furnishings were stunning. Staff were lovely. It was just a few hundred metres to the Windermere strip shops, had private off road parking and the £3pp each way bus to Bowness where the lake cruises leave from was only a couple of hundred metres away. Breakfast was great and the staff very helpful with the luggage.

The staff were lovely, breakfast was great, great location could not have asked for better. The bed was super comfy and the room was really clean. Would definitely stay there again.

The staff were amazing. So welcoming and friendly and offered a first class service. The rooms were exceptionally clean. The food was really nice as well.

The staff were very professional and friendly. The restaurant view was amazing as was the original art. Great gardens and views. EV charging a bonus.

I especially enjoyed peace and quietness around the property. Nature around is amazing. Facilities are fantastic especially in spa suites.

What’s not to like. The location of the property and the property itself are breathtaking.

Absolutely outstanding suite. It exceeded any expectations I had of the property, it was cleaned to a very high standard and the mini fridge in the room was stocked with goodies

The view and the location, we option for a lake view room and it was the best decision!

We stayed in the Seductive Suite, it was a beautiful room with the decor, lots of space, beautiful bathroom, we loved the mood lighting and the bed was so comfy. We loved the special touches like the vanity area and the under floor heating and the tv on the wall in the bathroom. It was the best hotel that we have ever stayed in and it was my boyfriend’s birthday as well. We will definitely be coming back.
