Set within 20 acres of rolling Worcestershire countryside, Wagtail Retreat is a working, sustainable vineyard with three stylish, well-equipped Shepherd Huts. It is owned by James and Chloe who, three years ago, decided to leave the commuter lifestyle behind and make Wagtail Retreat their main business. They now make their living by selling their wine and in 2023 have opened up their home as a place to stay, relax and unwind from everyday life. Luxury Shepherds Huts in the Beautiful Worcestershire Countryside; Working with The Hutbuilders, over time they developed three luxurious Shepherds Huts – Larch, Gooseberry and Hedgehog. Each hut is beautifully crafted and has been individually designed - their brief was simple, let’s design something we would want to stay in. All huts sleep two people, have a king-size bed, stylish shower room, sofa and fitted kitchen area. There is also a log-burner as well as an outdoor bath and fire pit, so guests have everything they need to relax and unwind. Each hut has amazing views of the Malvern Hills and lake and is full of little touches to make guests smile. Hand crafted James has led the outdoor work, planning the orientation of each hut and building all the exterior oak decks. Chloe has designed the interior of each hut, sourcing paints from the Little Greene Company, wallpapers from Sandersen, handmade tiles and quirky interior finishes such as elephant loo roll holders! They have tried to make each hut stylish and unique, with beautiful attention to detail so that guests have a choice of rustic charm in Larch, Scandi-chic in Gooseberry and Miami-chic in Hedgehog

Wagtail Vineyard Retreat comprises of Three hand build bespoke shepherds huts, each with 30ft oak decking, individual covered area with outdoor Victorian Baths and fire pits, located by a 120 meter wild swimming lake and wild flower meadows, all in our vineyard looking out over the wonderful Malvern Hills.

Wagtail is located in a Rural Area near the village of Sinton Green & Hallow in Worcestershire, Surrounded by farm land nature and views, farm shops, lots of wonderful walks from your doorstep with local Pubs, Rivers. The town of Malvern and the Malvern Hills is situated just 20 mins drive away. Also bordering with the Cotswolds and some of the wonderful tourist attractions it has. Wagtail is only 10 minutes into Worcester and the Cathedral and many other attractions. Shelsley hill climb, Ledbury, Broadway, Spetchley Park Estate and gardens, Eastnor Castle. (Cheltenham racecourse, The NEC are within 1hr). Also the Morgan Museum in Malvern with it's delicious Cafe/restaurant run by Faun.
