This one bedroom apartment is in a fantastic location, just a few minutes walk from lots of bars and tavernas, the beautiful harbour and from Boufos beach. Tripadvisor's no 1 taverna in Sissi, Neromilos, is just a short walk up the road where Nicky and her team will welcome you with their amazing traditional home cooked food. Right next door is another family run traditional taverna, Liafito and you could eat out every night at a different place all the way in to town. There may not be a pool but you can swim in the nearby hotels as well as visit the local beaches. There are beautiful walks along the coast or just stay at the apartment, it has all you need for a relaxing stay so relax, refresh and revisit!

We came to Sissi in 2017 on holiday and ended up buying two one bedroom apartments, Apollo and Aphrodite, having falling in love with the area and the people. There was a lot of work to be done as they had no kitchens, no air con, no mosquito nets and so on but after 5 visits and lots of hard work, we are now thrilled with the outcome. We wanted somewhere to get away from it all so currently there is no tv or wifi but there is wifi over in the cafe across the road so never too far from the big wide world if needed.

There is so much to do from Sissi - you can get the train to Vrachassi or Milatos, hire a boat, a car, a quad bike, anything you like really. But I would recommend a visit to Spinalonga, to Agios Nikalaos, the Lasithi Plateau and that's just a few areas of interest on this amazing island so full of stories to tell. We wanted somewhere to get away from it all so currently there is no tv or wifi but there is wifi over in the cafe across the road so never too far from the big wide world if needed. There is a launderette just 5 minutes walk down the road and a cash point in the village as well. If you have a car, there is parking outside on a first come, first serve basis or you can park in the free carpark next door. We are next to a school so when it's not holiday time, you will hear them playing during break times - I love the sound of the children playing but it's not to everyones liking so please be aware of this. Whatever you decide to do, we hope you remember to relax, refresh and revisit!
