The Athenian niche in Plaka is The Athenian House’s in Plaka youngest sibling! They actually share the same building and main entrance door. But apart from that they are totally independent. If you happen to be a big group travelling together maybe you might need to rent both villas and have the whole building to yourselves!

• Plaka Plaka, also known as “the neighborhood of the Gods” due to its proximity to the Acropolis and its many archaeological sites, is one of the most picturesque areas of Athens. Stroll around, enjoy the unique architecture, visit souvenir shops and shops with local products, go for a Greek coffee at cafe Melina or try out Greek cuisine dishes at tavernas like Zorbas. Everything is right at your feet! • Monastiraki Visit the Monastiraki flea market for a pleasant walk and maybe some Greek sandals and souvenir shopping! Look out to see traditional antique shops.
