Location was perfect for me. Within easy walking distance to all the major sights. Room was alway perfectly clean. I only availed of the breakfast once but it was lovely. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was always available. Special thanks goes to Micael, the porter. We came as a family with our 9-year- old daughter and felt like at home. Hearthfelt thanks to all the staff for their dedication... The location is extraordinary, just a 5-minute walk from the Acropolis.

An amazing location near the Philopappos Hill, in a very close proximity range from the historical downtown and all the main sightseeings of Athens, great for people who like walking like me. Very clean and tidy room. Very friendly staff who even provided me with a charger during whole my trip and helped me navigating the city.

Acropolis

Long before it became known as Bloomfield Falls, this magnificent waterfall was called Wujal Wujal by the indigenous Kuku Yalanji people. Hire a guide and learn why these people still consider Wujal Wujal to be sacred. Or just head down with your 4x4 and a picnic hamper, and have lunch in serious style!

A must to visit, it is climbable, I am 75 and with help from my daughter I made it to just before the top, I'm afraid of heights so didn't make the top with the crowds. Best time to go is 8am, our time was changed to 10am, due to a strike. If you are unable to climb the steps there is a cart that takes you to a lift which takes you to the top.

Go very early in the day, or very late, to avoid the huge crowds. Buy your timed tickets in advance, and they are separate from the museum. The museum is great, but there are several better collections in the center of Athens.

Nice to see but 30 euro is really too much for seing a few stones. Not much left of this area, like most temples of ancient Greece. We were a bit dissapointed. Greeks build an immage on the old history. A lot more labour of reconstruction could be done by escavating areas and putting the pieces together to look more like the original. Visitors should at least be permitted to walk inside the area of the temple.

Very large, beautifully decorated apartment with balcony overlooking a quiet street. The kitchen was well stocked and it was great having a washing machine. Stella, the host was readily accessible and eager to provide additional information. it is in a good location. The acropolis is a nice 30 minute walk away or a lot less if you take the metro which is just round the corner. If I come back to Athens I will definitely stay here again.

Everything. The location is just perfect. It is only a few minutes walk from the metro station at Syntagma square. We stayed three nights and found three great restaurants only a few minutes walk away (try the Drunky Goat if you want to sample a range of Greek wines). And it’s in a fairly easy walking distance of the Acropolis. The apartment was immaculately clean and spacious and the bed is superbly comfortable. Jasmin is very kind and extremely helpful. If you are visiting Athens you really, really need to stay here.

We have been traveling for 40 days so far with an around- the world - ticket. This hotel is one of the very best. It’s close to Acropolis and in the very center of downtown Athens. Above all, this hotel was very carefully designed and meet the need of travelers. Towels were clean and good quality. They have room slippers which is difficult to find these days. A large size of bathroom and a bed room. Front staff were very kind to share travel tips. We were very impressed and give a hotel 120/100.

I absolutely adore this hotel. It is our second time staying. The rooms are great and the views of the Acropolis from the hotel balcony or roof bar is absolutely sensational. Staff are unbelievably kind and helpful and the breakfast is incredible. We choose this hotel every time we stay in Athens! Fantastic location and if you do a day tour (e.g to Delphi or the Greek islands) - because it is such a central location, the tour guides almost always have Attalos as the pick up spot!

Good walking location for sightseeing, restaurants and shops. The hot tub was great for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Excellent view of the Acropolis. Alex was very helpful when we first arrived and gave us advice on where to visit and arranged for us to store our luggage before our late flight home. I’d recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Athens.

I have visited Athens every year in April, renting an apartment. Best apartment ever. Not because of personality or soul, but owing to functionality and closeness to Acropolis and Planka and the supreme quality of everything: a large bedroom with a large and good bed and possibility for darkness during the night, a small one with continuously warm water and a toilet that flushed easily without restrictions, a good kitchen, a living room, and a balcony. Everything worked perfectly.

Good stuff first..., clean apartment with balcony you can sit on.the flat itself has a lovley tv that you can stream direct off your phone to. The flat is 5 mins away from the metro and basically already in athens. Only 20 mins walk to acropolis :). Staff or whoever was messaging me on booking.com were nice and prompt. All in all. I would recommend this apartment and would stay again.

It's a great apartment with a wonderful terrace in a residential district of Athens. We loved the space, nice interior design a proper kitchen with a stove, an oven and a dishwasher. Compared to hotel rooms, our stay with kids felt almost like we would be at home. And you can easily reach the old town or Acropolis by foot.

Go beyond the Acropolis and explore the Agora and Kerameikos, imagining yourself entering Athens along the road from the port of Piraeus, and following the Panathenaic Way to the Akropolis. Stop at the museums along the way to understand the significance of each site. Then visit the National Archaeological Museum to see that classical Athens is just one of Greece's many magnificent cultures.

If you want to avoid crowds while seeing the famous sights, start out early and be at the sights when they open. I arrived at the Acropolis around 8:10 AM and there were only around 20 people on the whole compound. It was wonderful! There was a crowd climbing the hill when I descended, though!

Consider visiting Athens in May or September.

Consider visiting Athens in May or September. May is just lovely. Spring flowers like poppies and daisies cover the hills. It's not too busy and not too hot. Remember that on holidays you are always moving so consider the weather when you make your plans. Also, research opening hours as the Acropolis is closed May 1; and other Ancient Landmarks are closed on certain days and on certain hours any other day.
