We spent here only one night and we had a transfer arrainged by the hotel from the airport and back there. The rooms are very comfortable - we had everything what is necessary for a good rest; spacious living room, comfortable beds, fully - equipped kitchen. If we stayed longer it would be a perfect relaxation time.

The apartment was spacious and very clean. Towels where doft and everything you need is in the apartment. Easy to stay with a family i would say.
So many extra plus for the snacks in the fridge when we arrived late in the evening. Sandwiches, fruit, juice and coffe! We only had the apartment during the night, and choose it because its close to the airport. Only takes 15 minutes with a taxi.

Situated just over 12 miles (20 kilometres) east of central Athens, Elefthérios Venizélos Airport serves as a hub for Aegean Airlines and Olympic Air. A metro stop is located adjacent to the terminal, with trains running every 30 minutes and journeys taking around 40 minutes. The X93, X95, X96 AND X97 buses all run from the airport to the city and journeys take around 50 minutes. Taxis to and from the airport have a flat fare of EUR 38 between 05:00 and 00:00 and EUR 54 between 00:00 and 05:00.

Great place close to Athens airport good if you want to avoid the outrageous prices at the airport hotel. We had a rental car and it was easy to find on Google maps. The host sent us the GPS coordinates.

I was only ther for one night, would love to have been there longer. As with everywhere in Greece evrybody is so friendly and helpful. The taverna I ate at was cheap, massive portions and great booze! Wish I could remember the name.

My father was born here so my 1st cousins live here.
My father was born here so my 1st cousins live here. I brought my husband and sons here to introduce them. I loved my stay here meeting up with them again and revisiting all the places I’d been to before and seeing how much things had changed.
It’s a beautiful little town with the beach being so close too.

A lovely beachfront town and a great alternative to the hustle and bustle of Athens. The atmosphere is calm and friendly, and the boardwalk is wonderfully vibrant, lined with tavernas serving fresh seafood and grilled meats. The beaches offer a mix of pebbles and golden sand, with clean, clear water.
While there are certainly more spectacular beaches elsewhere in Greece, Artemida/Lutsa is a great choice if you're looking for reasonably priced accommodation and dining (without the steep prices of the Athenian Riviera), along with a nice balance of sightseeing and beach tim. Excellent as a base for Airport / ferry transfers.

We come at a good time when there's not many tourists, it's calm and pleasant, it's like spring time in cold countries, everywhere is green, and fruits are in harvest season. Very nice to walk in the up and down hilly roads, in every corner, you find different surprises.

Porto rafti has amazing coffee restaurants at the beach. Has any type of food you need. It has also quiet and nice neighbourhoods. Its a same destination , for relaxed holidays and its near the airport. Near Athens near other surrounding areas for you to explore. Its just the perfect choice.

It's a nice hotel with a great view of the mountain and the sea, and the staff is lovely. There are only 2 water bottles in the minibar, and they don't get refilled. I wouldn't call it a 5 star hotel.

Spata is a very nice, vibrant neighborhood. It has interesting shops, lively restaurants, convenient grocery shops, and open-air fruit and vegetable markets. Spata is the perfect place for a short 1-2 day stay; it's very convenient as it's close to the airport, which is very important when arriving in Athens late at night or leaving on an early morning flight. I've stayed in Spata several times and I've enjoyed it each time.

The only negative thing was it was a bit further from the airport than I expected. The taxi ride was 25 euros, however the owners took us to the airport in the morning for only 15 euros. I would advise others to make arrangements with them to pick up upon arrival.

I only stayed for a night because the hotel I booked here was a short drive to the airport. I really enjoyed going to the restaurants on the beach and using the free loungers as well. One thing I did notice is that it is a bit grittier than the city center and less touristy, so if you don’t know any of the language you may struggle. But otherwise, it was nice to visit. I was here the first week of June and taxis were about €50 coming to and from the city center.
