We loved Rafina and could have spent longer there.

We loved Rafina and could have spent longer there. We took the ferry from the islands and spent the night there before heading to the airport. The beach is nice with a couple of beach bars. Cute town with a number of decent restaurants and bars.

Rafina îs a nice place to stay if you eat to be close to the...

Rafina îs a nice place to stay if you eat to be close to the airport . We spent 2 nites and hired a car . This means you can drive to Rafina ( an EASY 25 min drive ) and the next day we drove back to the airport to take the tram into Monastraki Athens to go to Plaka etc and back to the airport ( 9Euro each way ) .This way no parking issues in Athens . The Port Rafina is cute with dozens of great restuarants in the port

Very short distance to from hotel and ferries if used and a good selection of restaurants in the town square just a few minutes walk from hotel.Lovely little square that is used all the time by locals

Compact, self contained unit. Very friendly host. Close to Ferry port and Rafina Square. Takes about 20 minutes walk to Port. If youbhave many heavy luggage, an issue. Else, very comfortable. Has a useful small kitchen with adequate utensils and stove. Comfy bed.

It has lovely views of Evia and the Attica coastline. it is a charming little town which does not feel too touristy at this time of year but is bery busy with the ferries in summer. It has nice lttle shops and good supermarkets. There is the little mariners'church of St Nicholas to visit and the bigger church. There is a good choice of restaurants and bars to enjoy with a variety of good food especially fresh fish and salads. The people are friendly and wlecoming and it is not too expensive. Ir has a real living town atmosphere. It is also easy to go to Athens from there with the bus and metro and it is worth going t Louthsa, Nea MAkri and Marathonas.You can take a trip to Evia and Andros even for a day.

I am always wary of staying in port locations especially at...

I am always wary of staying in port locations especially at night but Rafina is relaxed and comfortable and well lit. I felt safe there as a single traveller but I stayed around the main busy areas just in case. The local restaurants are quality and friendly and everything is available straight off the ferries so you don’t have to drag your luggage far to a bar/ ticket seller or taxis -just a few meters.

Awesome small apartment with all commodities, and when I say all, I mean ALL as in things other apartments or even expensive hotels do not have, like books to read, games to play, a Netflix enabled android TV, a cooker hob, a microwave, a kettle, cutlery, plates, pots, pans, glasses, hair drier, and even a first aid kit plus the most informative host I have ever been anywhere. So yeah, this may not be the Hilton, but definitely worth the price especially if you're passing through Rafina on the way to or returning from the islands

The studio is beautifully presented. Marcia has thought of everything. We didn't cook there but the kitchen was well equipped. Everything was spotlessly clean and modern. We had a very comfortable stay and slept very well in the comfy bed. The studio is next to Msrcia's house but it is private and very quiet. Marcia and her husband were very friendly and gave us a lift both from and then back into Rafina as we were on foot. If you need accommodation in Rafina do not hesitate to book this plac3e

Sadly we only had one night at this accommodation before we flew back to the UK which was a shame as it was absolutely gorgeous and sooo spacious. Everything was immaculate and been thought of, we were left a bottle of wine, fruit, biscuits, cake, breakfast crackers with preserves and butter along with water, tea and coffee. We enjoyed one very comfortable night here and we would definitely consider starting our island hopping next time from Rafina so we could enjoy this area for a bit longer.

The garden studio is a lovely place to stay. It is clean, quiet & only a 10 minute walk to the port of Rafina. Easy enough to find & good communication with the host. Ideal stopover if you are ferrying to the Cyclades Islands.
