"Food! The food was exceptional and affordable. Everyone speaks fluent English and they make you feel you belong.
We went there in February, so I recommend you dress warm because of the wind. You don't need transportation but I suggest you buy a tram ticket. I suggest you buy the one that costs about 20 euros, it includes the transportation to and from the airport and unlimited passage in between for 72 hours.
Should you go there I recommend you try Saganaki at Papafigos Rakadiko."

"Amazing! Would definitely recommend it. Beautiful room and garden. Close to the beach and bars. Also great for families. We ate to a really beautiful place close the the hotel. Bus stop also near. Easy to get around Agia Marina by foot. The only disadvantage is that the bus stops early in the day and you can't go to the city later if you want."

"Skala is a beautiful little village on the small island of Agistri. A perfect location to relax, enjoy unbelievable sunsets every evening and emerge yourself in Greek cuisine.
If your looking for some local Gyros then do not go without a visit to Gyrokomeíon. Yialos Fish Restaurant just on the outskirts of the village is one of the best restaurants on the Island with great hospitality.
If you want to commute around the Island then the one bus on the Island can get pretty crowded. However, an e-bike will easily take you from one end of this Island to the other.
If you love your beaches then head to the other side of the island and visit Apónēssos, For only 5 euros you can secure a lovely sunbed in a private beach area that provides table service and beautiful areas for swimming and basking in the sun."

OmG!!! We loved it. We did not expect the room to be so big. When we arrived, the receptionist told us to leave our bags and she would show us around the property and where everything was. She walked us to our room and brought our bags right after. There was a balcony in our room and everything was so clean.
We loved the breakfast. There were many options.
We loved that it was a 3mins walk from the port.
We loved that it was right on the beach.
The staff was very nice. If we ever go back to Agistri, we will definitely stay there again.

I had a wonderful stay at The Stanley Hotel in Greece. The place is clean, quiet, and feels very safe. The staff were friendly and welcoming from start to finish. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options to choose from. My room was very clean, comfortable, and of great quality. I truly enjoyed my stay and would gladly come back!

Very friendly and polite staff, always available to assist us! The cleanest hotel i have ever been, great smelling of sheets and towels. Delicious breakfast with a lot of variety and homemade snacks. They even allowed us to leave our luggages and have a shower after checking out. Highly recommended!!

The hotel offer an amazing view of Athens and the Acropolis. The breakfast is exceptional on the hotel highest floor with 360 view of the whole city. The staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms and amenities are. excellent. All in all it's the best value for money in Athens.

Athens is a very cultural and historic city with so much to...
Athens is a very cultural and historic city with so much to see. The Dora Stratou dancers are amazing with their beautiful traditional costumes (several changes during the show) and the beauty of their dancing traditional Greek dances. The music is also very enjoyable.
The Parthenon and the Acropolis museum are both very educational. I have been to the Acropolis museum five times now.
The Athenians never cease to amaze me with their hospitality, kindness and helpfulness.
Athens is worth returning to again and again.

Dimotiko Theatro is a great place to visit with really lovely cafes and restaurants and a short ten minute walk along Sotiris Sios towards the Marina where there were countless options for food. At night the place looked beautiful as we visit Marina Zea and also Microlimano and also Votsaliki where they have outdoor cinema. We also watched Beach handball there.
We used the buses and metro to get around to other places however Dimotiko Theatro and the marinas are best seen by walking.

A lovely beachfront town and a great alternative to the hustle and bustle of Athens. The atmosphere is calm and friendly, and the boardwalk is wonderfully vibrant, lined with tavernas serving fresh seafood and grilled meats. The beaches offer a mix of pebbles and golden sand, with clean, clear water.
While there are certainly more spectacular beaches elsewhere in Greece, Artemida/Lutsa is a great choice if you're looking for reasonably priced accommodation and dining (without the steep prices of the Athenian Riviera), along with a nice balance of sightseeing and beach tim. Excellent as a base for Airport / ferry transfers.

Hydra is enchanting with its historic character and traffic-...
Hydra is enchanting with its historic character and traffic-free streets. It truly has a soul of its own, with its donkeys, cats, and beautiful houses. It is the kind of place you want to visit again and again.
Veranda Restaurant, meanwhile, is a place where you can enjoy incredibly delicious food while admiring Hydra from above and feeling truly special. I highly recommend it.

Convenient city close to Athens airport.
Convenient city close to Athens airport. Great place to stay if you are in transit and do not want to spend the time and money to sleep in downtown Athens.
Small city with some nice cafes and restaurants.
There is a great zoological park nearby which we plan to explore next time.

I stayed at Askeli during my visit, the weather was windy...
I stayed at Askeli during my visit, the weather was windy and clear. The beach is clean, and the sea is clean too, but not turquoise. Shop owners, in particular, are generally rude in town, acting as if you're bothering them. Hotel was comfortable and good enough, clean rooms, staff are friendly and helpful. My holiday was generally good and happy. Taxi driver in first day took euros more than the schedule. I prefer to eat Gallini restaurant in Askeli.

Very nice place with lot of beaches and warm sea water.
Very nice place with lot of beaches and warm sea water. The port is very busy, it is easy to go to and back from the nearby Aegina. The water is very clean even in the beaches at the port. Not too much underwater life. Lot of nice tavernas. Green island so they must have some freshwater source. Everything is in walking distance. The biggest beach is a sandy beach with slowly deepening water.

Spetses is a truly charming island with a unique atmosphere. We loved wandering through the beautiful old streets, enjoying the traditional architecture, the peaceful surroundings, and the lovely seaside views. The island has a wonderful mix of elegance, nature, and authentic Greek charm.

A great walkable town.
A great walkable town. Plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes and lots of nice souvenir stores. There was a laundromat within walking distance of our hotel which also helped. Nice local beaches with cheap sun lounges.

More quiet than other locations. Great family spot.
More quiet than other locations. Great family spot. Good food and very good service. The beach offers sunbeds in exchange for eating at the beach restaurant. Water pleasantly warm and very clean. We went there at the beginning of July and it was not too crowded. The Monastery of St Nectary can be reached via local bus that leaves from the center at very friendly price. Also taxi service is available for 20 euros. We rented a car for two days. The car was delivered at our location and picked up the same way. The car rent company from Aegina offered guidance on what we should visit , what areas have bad roads and guided us to the nicest places. We recommend Perdika beach for eating fresh fish and taking the boat to Moni little island 15 -20 minutes ride. There you can see wild peacocks and wild deer. The island has a clear blue water beak great for snorkeling. Also you can rent pair of sun beds and umbrella for 20 euros. Island also has a great beach bar. All in All Agia Marina is quieter than Aegina harbor, and offers amazing walking areas with a small chapel on the beach. Also the Temple of AFAIA is very close and can be visited for a nice view on the Antic Greece. Enjoy the island!
