A quiet little piece of paradise. Katerina and her family who run the guesthouse and the one adjacent are kind, present and go above and beyond to make every guest feel at home. The rooms are impeccably decorated, a historic building designed with a local feel but not over the top. They were clean, comfortable and warm. The other guests were quiet, respectful and friendly so all in all was an absolute pleasure. Recommend booking for a few nights!

We had a wonderful and too-brief stay here - what a beautiful little resort and a wonderful hotel. Victoria couldn't have done more for us, from efforts to book us a taxi to preparing a delicious breakfast for us the evening before we left, because we were leaving very early in the morning. (On that note, we left at 06.30 to hike up via a cliff path to Tsagkarada to get a 08.00 bus to Volos - this was an amazing experience in the early morning and (if you're a walker) a fantastic hike.)

Our host Katerina was very attentive and caring. The rooms had lots of attention to details and provided a very cozy feel. The homemade breakfast was always very tasty with a sortiment of special pies and we always enjoyed the amazing view from the cafe where it was served. Our host, Katerina offers yoga classes for those who are interested and we took part in two amazing morning sessions during sunrise. In general, the location was stunning with wonderful beaches and outdoor activities such as kayaking, snorkeling and hiking.

The Germanikho family – for it is exactly that, a family – welcomes you from the moment you arrive in Damouchari village until the moment you leave. We had a wonderful stay. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, cool even in the high heat of the day, the guesthouse restaurant served delicious food and a healthy breakfast, and every member of the family, from our host Katerina, her brother Thomas, the parents Pascal and Victoria, and Sabrian, the kayak tour guide, were kind and hospitable and conveyed a genuine sincerity in every aspect of their work. Sabrian’s seven-hour kayak tour of the Aegean coast was a particular treat. He wove the marvels of science, the drama of history, a touch of local politics, several delicious meals and a couple of swims into the tour. And if this wasn’t enough: the village of Damouchari with its two coves and miles of hikes all around were a perfect spot for a holiday retreat. You must go. Say we sent you.

The rooms were simple but in a beautiful way, the view from the balcony was lovely (straight onto the bay) and it was lovely to wake up to the sounds of the waves- the breakfasts prepared by Katerinas mother were delicious
