Es war ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft war sehr gut ausgestattet: Von Duschbad und Shampoo über die Handtücher, 3 Fernseher, Geschirrspüler bis hin zu allem, was man für ein erstes Frühstück oder einen Tee zwischendurch braucht. Das Haus ist sehr großzügig und man freut sich immer wieder nach einem Ausflug, zurück zu kehren. Es gibt mehr Sitzecken, als man Urlaubstage hat. :o) Die Unterkunft hat wirklich die Erwartungen übererfüllt! Alles war sehr liebevoll und durchdacht angelegt und die Lage ist auch genau das, was wir suchten: Sehr ruhig, abgelegen und einsam. Trotzdem ist man in 2 min mit dem Auto im nächsten Restaurant.

Green Oak villa is a spacious property designed to provide comfort and total seclusion for up to 8 guests. Set in it's own private olive grove and surrounded by wild oak, cypress and pine trees, it features two bedrooms each with a queen sized bed and TV, one bedroom with a bunk bed and a double sofa bed in the living room. All three bedrooms have a large wardrobe and air conditioning. There are two modern bathrooms, one of which is ensuite to the master bedroom. The living room is also air conditioned, has a comfortable sofa, a stone fireplace, a TV and a large dining table which is perfect for enjoying a meal with family or friends. The kitchen is fully equipped and has modern appliances including a fridgefreezer, oven, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave and washing machine. The outside is equally impressive with plenty of space and seating areas dotted around the property where guests can take in the peaceful, natural surroundings of the Zakynthian countryside, relax on the sun terrace or on the shaded veranda overlooking the olive grove and gardens, or even enjoy a family cookout on the large stone built BBQ. Green Oak villa really is a home away from home and will leave you feeling relaxed, recharged and revitalised.

Staying at Green Oak villa will mean that you're in the picturesque Zakynthian mountains just outside the charming village of Anafonitia between Orthonies and Volimes where you'll find tavernas, cafés and shops offering local produce and handicrafts. The area is well known for its stunning landscapes, rocky cliffs, hiking/biking trails and pristine beaches, such as Porto Vromi, Xygia and Makri Gialo which are ideal for swimming and snorkeling. Just a few kilometres away you'll find Kampi, where you can witness the most breathtaking view of the sunset on the island. The villa's location is also perfect for exploring the many quaint old churches, monasteries and museums, or for visiting the stunning "Blue caves" and the world famous "Shipwreck beach" which is accessible by boat, or can be seen from the aerial viewpoint located just a short drive from the villa. Whether you enjoy hiking, cycling or sightseeing, Green Oak villa is the perfect choice for those seeking a peaceful, authentic Greek experience away from the crowds and hustle and bustle of the more touristy areas.
