The apartment is situated in the lovely area of Kommeno 10 kilometers from Corfu Town along the north eastern coast. The apartment is set within the gardens of a private home and enjoys a tranquil and peaceful environment. It is conveniently located for guests providing easy access to enjoy the sites of a wonderful Corfu. We look forward to welcoming our guests and aim to provide something special to make their Corfu holiday a memorable one. We are always available for a chat or advice needed to enjoy all that Corfu has to offer.
My husband and I moved to Corfu from South Africa when we bought the property. I am a cat person, with 6 cats at home plus a rescued dog and my husband collects owls which led us to choose the name, The Owl and the Pussycat, for our property. The poem was written by Edward Lear who spent many years in Corfu in the early 1800's.
The Owl and the Pussycat is off the main arterial routes without being isolated and detached. We have found a wonderful balance of tranquility and at the same time proximity to the action in the resorts of Gouvia and Dasia when needed. The immediate area has some excellent restaurants and the peninsula of Kommeno is open for lovely walks.
