Our house is situated only 200 meters from the sea in a quiet side street of Banjol. It is surrounded by a flowering garden with old palm trees and other typical Mediterranean plants. The ground floor is used by us, on the first floor there are two apartments (85m² + 60m²). Both holiday flats are equipped with two balconies each and offer a very beautiful view to the south and west over gardens and roofs, partly with sea view. To the east the view extends over the green landscape of the island's interior.
My family and I look forward to welcoming you to our home. I am always available and will gladly give you tips so that you can get to know our home island in a relaxed way and enjoy your holiday time. If you arrive by plane (airport Rijeka or Zadar), I will gladly organize a taxi transfer for you to Rab. I love to cook and bake, especially for my family and guests. So you can, if you like, enjoy homemade cakes or a speciality of the island. Children and sometimes associated hustle and bustle are welcome. Especially the little ones I often enjoy with the one or the other game thing of my grandchildren. See you soon on the island of Rab, Ruža Mikelić
In the immediate vicinity of the house there are two small bathing bays. With a sandy beach, shallow water, sunbeds and umbrellas for hire and small cafés, these are ideal for families with small children. Of a completely different, calmer and natural beauty are the many small bathing bays that line almost the entire coast of the island. One of our favourite beaches - Pudarica - is 10 minutes away by car. With its ochre-coloured rock faces it offers a cosy place to relax. Rab also has a lot to offer historically and culturally. A walk through the alleys of the old town is like a cultural journey through different centuries. This can be seen among other things in the four famous bell towers of the city of Rab, which all date from a different epoch. Throughout the island there are many restaurants with beautiful terraces from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of the sea. We recommend the restaurant PERLA to our guests. It is located in the immediate vicinity of our house (about 300 m), has a very nice terrace with a view of the sea and the bell towers of Rab and a great service.
