Zeleni horizont („Green horizon“) is a self-standing guest house. It offers accommodation that is including a spacious terrace with an outdoor kitchen equipped with a grill, as well as the second terrace with a view of the river Danube. It also offers free Wi-Fi, sauna with a river view, fireplace, two person bathtub and central heating system, which makes it ideal for rent all year around. The house is located in our picturesque garden, discreetly hidden from neighbouring properties in Erdutska planina, providing perfect conditions to escape from everyday stress. In this very private place guests will find true beauty, tranquillity and relaxation. Romantic weekends for two will for sure remain unforgettable. At Zeleni horizont guests can pick, prepare and consume ecologically grown vegetables and fruits. The property has a basketball playground and a room for table tennis. It takes only 2 km to reach the river Danube, where guests can use a motor boat, just for a ride or to go fishing and during summer months to go to the sandy island called Inzula for a swim. The surrounding area is ideal for those who like cycling, as well as for those who like taking walks.

Zeleni Horizont came as result of a 15-year old careful horticultural designing of a rural holiday retreat, where the owners would come to relax. It began as a hobby but they gave a lot of thought to it. In time, the property outgrew the needs of its owners and they started to think about making it available to other people. On a warm afternoon, the owners were sitting under the old black fruit mulberry tree, gazing into the vast green vegetation bounded by blue sky and Danube and the idea of Zeleni Horizont was born! Many friends were supportive about the idea and the construction of the guest house, which is some 40 meters away from the owners’ holiday house, began. The owners are willing to share their enthusiasm, knowledge and experience. Their story can help others who would like to start the same journey, but are not yet certain if it is exactly the right thing for them! The owners exercise recreational fishing and can be of assistance to guests also interested in it. Since this is a property for holidays, the owners do not live here all the time. Guests have a choice – the owners can be at their disposal during their entire stay or they can have the property only to themselv

The guest house is separated from surrounding units. It is built on a property of 7.200 m2 maintained with care and provides exceptional tranquillity and privacy at any time of the day. The property is situated in the heart of Erdut wine region, surrounded by well-known wineries. One of them is only 200 m away from the house and offers wine testing. The village of Aljmaš and a very well-known Marian church of Our Lady of Consolation are near. Within a radius of only 50 km are cities Ilok, Vukovar, Osijek and Beli Manastir, ready to present the sights of a unique Slavonian culture. There is also the famous nature park Kopački rit. The village of Erdut is situated near the border to Serbia – the border crossing is 4 km away from the property. Right across the border you can find several restaurants and stores with quite a wide assortment of products. Serbian cities Apatin and Sombor are 30 km away from the property and restaurants there offer traditional fish and wild game dishes. One out of two biggest cities in Serbia, Novi Sad, is situated 70 km from the property, whereas the capital Belgrade is 180 km away.
