Beautifully nestled in Colomadu, Karanganyar, Solo ; Ayom Java Village is a compound of sustainable villas aiming to provide genuine, authentic, and comfortable experience of living in a Javanese karawitan village. This unique compound embraces the philosophy of Javanese karawitan – the oldest form of musical in tradition in Javanese society that carries social, moral, and spiritual values. Guest will be pampered with classical melody being played live from the karawitan pendopo (hall) near the pool, while the village’s members offer an afternoon tasting such as jamu (traditional herbal drinks) accompanied with local delicacies -- all served in a true Javanese manner. With the wisdom of local musical tradition as its belief, Ayom Java Village is the sanctuary for guest to experience not only the city of Solo, but as well as the conservation efforts of the sacred tunes of Javanese karawitan with the good company of the locals.
